W. Bruce Lunsford

Chairman, Chief Executive Officer – Lunsford Capital, LLC.
Chairman, Arcadia Communities, LLC.

W. Bruce Lunsford is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Lunsford Capital, LLC, a private investment company founded in 2003 and headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky. He is the founder and former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ventas, Inc., in Louisville, Kentucky, a healthcare real estate investment company (REIT), which owns or leases more than 360 healthcare facilities across the country.

Mr. Lunsford is also the founder, former Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Vencor, Inc., a Fortune 500 healthcare company, now known as Kindred Healthcare based in Louisville, Kentucky. During his 15-year tenure, Vencor became the largest full-service, long-term healthcare provider in the United States. The network consisted of 61 long-term acute care hospitals, 293 skilled nursing centers and employed over 65,000.

In 1996, Mr. Lunsford founded Atria Communities Inc., the third largest assisted living company in the U.S. He served as Atria’s Chairman and recruited its original management team. In 1998, Atria was sold to Lazard Freres, and the company continues to maintain its headquarters in Louisville, Kentucky.

Mr. Lunsford is Chairman of Valor Healthcare, Inc., a company that develops and operates outpatient clinics for military veterans under the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Mr. Lunsford continues to invest in a variety of businesses, however, he gains his most satisfaction from offering his time and talents to help small startup businesses grow and succeed.

An individual with varied interests, Mr. Lunsford is an accomplished thoroughbred owner and breeder, as well as a former member of the Board of Directors of Churchill Downs Incorporated.

Mr. Lunsford also served on several other public company boards including National City Corporation, Cleveland, Ohio and Rescare, Inc., Louisville, Kentucky. He has also participated in public service in both the non-profit and governmental sectors as a member of numerous boards and commissions.

Brian P. Durbin

President and Chief Operating Officer – Arcadia Communities, LLC.

Brian P. Durbin, President of Arcadia Communities, has over 15 years of management experience in healthcare and senior living. He’s spent the majority of his career working for one of the largest Senior Living Companies in the Country.

Brian’s career in Senior Living began as an Executive Director over a single community and progressed to a senior level Executive position overseeing Assisted and Independent Living operations in multiple states. Brian has received a number of honors including being recognized as one of five individuals named “Executive Directors of the Year.” He was awarded this designation on three different occasions.

Brian holds a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from the University of Louisville, and a Masters Degree in Public Health Administration from the University of Kentucky. He resides in Louisville with his wife Mary Jo and their three daughters.

Justin Vetter, CPA

Controller – Arcadia Communities, LLC.

Justin serves as Controller for Arcadia Communities and his role is to support accounting, finance and budgetary processes.

He has worked extensively with consulting and financial statement audits within the health care industry, including hospitals, senior living facilities and physician practices. His expertise extends to financial forecasts, budgetary processes, capital funding and reimbursement solutions.

Justin holds a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and Marketing from the University of Kentucky, and is expected to complete his Masters of Business Administration degree from Bellarmine University in the Spring 2014. Justin is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant. Justin resides in Louisville, KY, with his wife Andrea and their two daughters Emily and Lily Jean.
